Supergirl Trailer Shows Man Of Steel And A Gotham Reference

The CW has released a new trailer for the season premier of Supergirl which includes lots of footage of Kara's (Melissa Benoist) cousin Kal (Tyler Hoechlin). The episode looks like it will be a lot of fun and that we'll get to see a lot of Superman in action. There is even a quick Gotham City name drop in the trailer. Not seen in the trailer are the two new characters Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima).

Supergirl season two kicks off October 10th on the CW.
