Retailers To Get 50% Extra Defenders #1 And Incredible Hulk #2 Than They Ordered, For Free

Retailers To Get 50% Extra Defenders #1 And Incredible Hulk #2 Than They Ordered, For FreeGetting comic book retailers to increase their orders with a series of incentives, then doubling all orders anyway saw comic stores flooded with copies of Point One from Marvel this week, a fifty-odd page comic for $5.99 was soon selling for $2.99 in many stores as a result (although someone did manage to sell a copy for $10 on eBay, bravo sir, bravo!)

Well, looks like Marvel may be doing something similar with Defenders #1, already the subject of incentives to order more copies, now shipping to retailers with an extra 50% on top for free. Which means the cannier customer may again be able to haggle down the price of the comic, from $3.99 to $2.99 without too much difficulty.

And in the same week, Marvel are doing the same with Incredible Hulk #2, as well as giving them free variant cover copies. Well, it is only twenty pages long for $3.99, any encouragement helps…
