Following Up The 50th Anniversary Of Teen Titans With Dan DiDio On The Show Floor

Not too long ago I wrote an article on the lack of publicity for the Teen Titans 50th anniversary. Well, today as I was walking towards artist ally I ran into Dan DiDio and I always thought to myself if I have the chance to ask him one thing that would be it.

DiFio was very polite taking a second to answer my question in regards to why there hasn't been much of a celebration. We are aware of the 50th anniversary hardcover being released in November, but why no variant covers or anything like that?

He told me that there are so many anniversaries coming up that they can't always get to all of them and with Batman being so big that that was why they decided to focus mainly on Batman. DiDio then tells me that anniversaries for the Flash, Joker and Wonder Woman are coming in 2016 in which I said that it was interesting, since she was appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, to which he replied that I would know better than him. I thanked him for his time and he was off.

Dimitrios Haritos is a contributor for Bleeding Cool as well as a Cosplayer who loves all things comics. You can find him on twitter @ectoman_913
