Assassin's Creed: Victory, Rainbow Six: Siege And The Division All Set For This Year
Here is a bit of in and out news for you, that is actually pretty substantial all things considered.
During a conference call with investors, Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot said that a new Assassin's Creed (Which will be Assassin's Creed: Victory), Rainbow Six: Siege And The Division are all set for 2015. On top of that he said there would be two more AAA titles launching this year, but did not elobrate. Can Just Dance count as a AAA game? If so, that is likely one.
I'm honestly surprised the plan is to have all three out this year. In my mind those are all Q4 games. Christmas would be a little crowded for Ubisoft if they all fell around there. Of course, any of those could be delayed. I'd bet at least one of those falls out of that window.
It's worth noting that the company's profits also grew substantially in 2014, as it was revealed that Ubisoft's third quarter of 2014 saw sales up nearly 60% over the same period last year.
