The Comic Books That Will Make Up The New Spider-Man Movie

A retailer writes to tell Bleeding Cool that certain people at Sony involved with the upcoming Spider-Man movie have been buying certain comic books – and reading our report on leaked Sony e-mails saw the link.

And that involved people have been stocking up on issues of Ka-Zar and Savage Land – but the specific issues to pay attention to are the first four issues of Marvel Fanfare featuring Spider-Man and then the X-Men in the Savage Land and the three issue run with with Todd DeZago and the late Mike Wieringo, #13–15 of Sensational Spider-Man, reprinted as the Savage Land Saga.

So if you want an idea of what to expect – or just fancy a little speculation  – dig in!
