Claire Roe Takes Over Jonathan Brandon Sawyer On 'Welcome Back' From Boom For A Bit

Boom Studios' new original series, Welcome Back by Christopher Sebela and Jonathan Brandon Sawyer, launched to positive reviews and a speedy sell out. This follows other recent BOOM! debuts selling out including The Spire, Strange Fruit, Power Up and Over The Garden Wall. 

We at Bleeding Cool are rather fond of the resurrection-driven series and eagerly await the arrival of issue #2 in stores next week. An advance review copy shows that new artist Claire Roe is joining the existing team for a few pages in issue #2, which I'm happy to share exclusively here. I was also able to confirm Ms. Roe would be on art duties for Welcome Back #3 and able to secure early pages from that as well. I was a big fan of Sawyer's work on the first issue and can't wait to see more from him, but in the meantime Roe looks like an exciting addition to this series.
