Who's Here From Another Dimension, In The All-New Marvel Universe, Today?
I have The Prodigy in my head today…
There are all sorts of people one might expect to find in the new Deadpool: Mercs For Money teambook, following the Deadpools and their attempts to earn a dishonest buck.
But I have to say, I wasn't expecting The Crazy Gang. Created by Dave Thorpe and Alan Davis for the Captain Britain strip in Marvel Super-Heroes Monthly, they were a gang of killers conjured up by Mad Jim Jaspers as part of the Jaspers' Warp in another dimension, and eventually finding a home in ours, courtesy of Alan Moore and Chris Claremont.
But there are not the only dimensional travellers around today. Marvel launches their new Miles Morales comic, simply Spider-Man, taking the cast of the Ultimate Universe version….
With free, extra live mother. How this affects previous Miles Morales stories, how this affects the cast having, I guess, always lived in this world, even though Miles Morales still remembers the Secret Wars and that hamburger, I have no idea. Maybe we never will learn.
Which makes me wonder… what happened to the previous 616 version of Morales? Was he just written over by Franklin Richards? So many, many questions, so few answers.
While Doctor Doom, from the previous 616, is still sporting his new look from Doomworld in Invincible Iron Man.
Shame he didn't have a spare burger on Doomworld or he'd probably still be running the place. Equally, The Regent makes the move from Doomworld in Amazing Spider-Man.
Like that.
At least A-Force tries to point out that this is possibly weird…
