TBS And TNT Team Up On Tales From The Crypt

wattpadTBS and TNT are teaming with Wattpad, an online community for users to share original stories, for their first project… Tales from the Crypt by M. Night Shyamalan. The idea behind the partnership is an opportunity for the users to have their stories adapted by the networks for various mediums.

This will allow the networks to discover new talent through using Wattpad's data-driven models as well as using contests and other opportunities that will be announced through Turner's Wattpad account. This will start with a Tales from the Crypt horror block set to debut next year.

This seems to be the networks way of reaching out for new voices through the internet communities. This looks like it might be a good way for up-and-coming writers to get noticed.
