Ubisoft Lays Out The Plans For Year Three Of 'Rainbow Six Siege'

This morning, Ubisoft game out the intended plans for the third year of Rainbow Six Siege's seasonal plans. Below is the initial roadmap they have in mind for all four seasons, which includes a total of eight new operators, two new maps for Italy and Morocco, and "map makeover" which they don't go into detail over. Operation Chimera looks like it's going to deal primarily with biohazard scenarios, which should make for an extra amount of hell on the players if chemical warfare is going to be involved this time around. Below is the brief description from Ubisoft about the next year as we wait for the full trailer reveal to the next operator set to happen this week.

Year 3 will kick off with Operation Chimera. This season's two operators are specialists in biohazard situations, on top of being playable in adversarial multiplayer, and during four weeks they will have to face a major threat in what will be the game's first co-op event ever, named Outbreak. This event will be playable during four weeks for free for Rainbow Six Siege owners. It will also feature an exclusive collection of cosmetics, available only during the time of the event.
