Third Editions is Publishing an English Version of Bioshock: From Rapture to Columbia

French publishing house Third Editions is happy to announce that their book BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia is now available for the first time in English. Featuring deep analysis of the BioShock series' games' background and genesis, BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia reveals secrets hidden within the mysterious and magnificent cities of Rapture and Columbia. Which makes it something of a must have for Bioshock fans. The book can be purchased now on Third Editions' official website for £22.90 GBP / $29.90 USD / €24.90 EUR.

Designed for fans, the high-quality, hardcover-bound BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia delivers intriguing details and revealing anecdotes on the creation of each game, from initial concepts to the unforeseen developments that happened throughout production, shaping the franchise into what players know and love today. The book details the series' connection with real-world history and mythology, the trilogy's complex and interweaving narratives, and examines BioShock's inspirations and legacy.

BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia is the latest addition to Third Editions' growing range of English-language books, following recent translation and publication of French-language titles covering the Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and Dark Souls series.

"When we first wrote BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia, we wanted to make the book as exhaustive as possible, while also bringing our personal point of view and experience," states Mehdi El Kanafi, Third Editions' co-founder. "It sums up our editorial line perfectly: 'be personal to be universal'. And we are very excited to finally be able to offer an English version for all BioShock fans to read."

"BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia continues our vision of what these kind of books can be -: comprehensive, and relatable, and fantastic accompaniments to the games themselves," continues fellow co-founder Nicolas Courcier. "This is an ethos that we're taking forward into our next projects – and we'll be able to reveal what those books will be, very soon."
