Alan Moore and Donny Cates Settle the Venom vs. Watchmen Debate
Bleeding Cool has documented the ongoing very serious feud between Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's Venom and Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen.
The feud, mostly via one-sided attacks by the Venom creative team, has been going on for months, relentlessly, with attacks as recently as yesterday from Stegman.
And even as recently as this morning by Cates.
Though it seemed the conflict might never end, Cates revealed Friday that a truce had been called, as Cates and Alan Moore met and came to terms on a mutual cessation of hostilities. As to the debate over which is better, Venom or Watchmen, the writers reportedly agreed to call it a tie.
Venom #6 hits stores on September 19th, if you want to see what all the hype is about.
