Pokémon GO Releases Special Pokémon at NYCC

Pokémon GO has gotten into the New York Comic Con spirit by setting up a PokéStop at the Javits Center and releasing some special Pokémon. Niantic has set up a special stop for players to check out, if the internet works on your phone int he building with over 100,000 signals trying to leave as well. But the company has also set up some special creatures for you to find throughout the con as they have looted the place with Unown.

The Unown at NYCC have been shaped in special ways, forming the shape of some specific letters that include C, I M, N, O, and Y. The intention is to spell out NY COMIC CON, because why not be cute about it, right? Unfortunately for 99.9% of the population, you can only snag them if you're near the Javits Center, which will automatically make them some of the rarest versions of the creature to date. This isn't the first time Pokémon GO has done this, as they did the same thing at MAG 2018 and Milan Games Week. Best of luck to you trainers in the NYC area tonight and tomorrow.
