"Mutant: Year Zero" Gets New "The Grey Death" Adventure Book from Free League Publishing
Free League Publishing has just released a brand-new Adventure Book for their award-winning Mutant: Year Zero role playing game. The new Adventure Book is going to be called The Grey Death, and it's already on my must-have list!

The door to the laboratory slid shut with a hiss. The battle was over, and the short man wiped a fleck of greenish fluid from his face. The lights in the ceiling flickered and cast a bleak glow over the fallen individuals on the floor in front of him. The man's two accomplices – one immense and mechanical, the other shadowy – awaited new instructions.
"It is done," the short man said.
"We have no time to lose. It is time to set our plan into motion. Soon, the entire Zone will be at our feet."
The Gray Death is a 96-page full-color hardback book that takes the stories in Mutant: Year Zero and its expansions Genlab Alpha, Mechatron, and Elysium and ties them all together. Mutants, animals, robots and humans must put their differences aside and unite against a common threat to the world at the end of days.
Mutant: Year Zero is one of the most entertaining role playing games I have in my collection, with players taking on mutated survivors of a post-apocalyptic earth. The Genlab Alpha supplement lets players run mutated animals, and is seriously wonderful to look at and run.
Mutant: Year Zero is distributed in the United States through Modiphius, and the latest book, The Grey Death, should be available at your favorite local game store now! If your store doesn't carry Mutant: Year Zero books yet, there is a pretty good chance they can special order it for you.
Free League Publishing has also released a nifty Quick Start version of the Mutant: Year Zero, which will let you test-run the game completely free. It's not the full version by any means, but there is enough there to show you how great a system it is!
