Mountain Dew Gets Hard and Is Finally Starting to Hit Shelves
At long last! Every Mountain Dew fan's dream is now a reality as PepsiCo, and The Boston Beer Company announced the arrival of Hard Mountain Dew. This new alcoholic beverage takes the legendary soda back to its mixer spirits origins and turns it up a notch. This is the first major soft drink to take this leap, and there is plenty for Mountain Dew fans to get excited about, from flavors to contents. Four HARD MTN DEW flavors will be coming with Back Cherry, Watermelon, Original, and the hit flavor Baja Blast! Two versions will be offered with 24oz single-serve cans as well as a Mix Pack that features 12oz cans and all the flavors in one box. Each HARD MTN DEW will contain 5% ABV and will also have Zero Sugar with 100 calories each. Only three states are kicking off the launch with Florida, Iowa, and Tennessee, but more states will start to get them through 2022.
