Star Wars Fans Can Now Own a Life-Size BB-8 from Sideshow Collectibles

Star Wars droid BB-8 can now roll around your living room — life-size, that is. This Thursday Sideshow Collectibles will put up for preorder a life-size version of the latest Star Wars trilogy's favorite droid.

Featuring full electronics including lights an sounds, BB-8 will measure out at 37 inches tall. The droid features a sleek design, with fully weathered paint aps and all of the bells and whistles you could possibly want. It won't be cheap, as you can imagine for something this size. It will run you $3,950 if you want to chase BB-8 around your home.

Sideshow is proud to present the BB-8 Life-Size Figure, an exciting new addition to the realm of Star Wars collectibles!

The BB-8 Life-Size Figure captures the presence of the rolling Resistance droid who came to life for fans everywhere in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This loveable, spherical droid measures 37" tall from the bottom of the Star Wars thematic base to the top of the antennae. BB-8 is detailed with orange and silver paneling on both his round body and head, painted with weathering effects to bring all the action of the galaxy to your collection. The fiberglass astromech has a repositionable head dome, and the body can be shifted in different positions on his base.

The BB-8 Life-Size Figure can be activated to display lights in the body and head, and the figure includes a sound feature for recreating the distinct bwoops and beeps of the iconic droid. Activate these dynamic features and bring BB-8 to life with the included remote control.
