A Comic Show – All-New Marvel & Same Ol' Chewie!

Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida, writes,

Hey Fandom! We all survived last week's onslaught of great comics, and are ready for more! This week had a fat stack of great books, starting with Chewbacca #1. Chewie vs slavers, what's not to love. There's another Shattered Empire, and I give my speculation of what's going to happen leading into Force Awakens. Marvel has six All-new All-different #1's. My favorite is Guardians of the Galaxy with The Thing and Kitty as Star-Lord. Uncanny Avengers and New Avengers gave us more details on what up with mutants. Nick Spencer's Sam Wilson Captain America is at odds with Shield and Rogers. Spidey 2099 is still by Peter David and Spider-Gwen is still by Jason Latour, and they both had very strong starts.

Batman #45 is great, but Batman & Eternal #2 is what I'm singing the praises of this week! This book promises to explain why Batman had so many sidekicks, and how they're all connected. Seriously, this book features all the Robins and more.

There's a new The Walking Dead issue AND a Blood Orange IPA. Sex Criminals has another triple X variant cover. I Hate Fairyland by Scottie Young is fluffing ridiculous and muffin huggin' brutal. Cursed Pirate Girl has new material. Lumberjanes Beyond Bay Leaf is the hardcore ladies first spin off. And it's showtime cuz Jem and the Holograms volume one dropped.
