A Funny Thing Happened On My Way To The Dark Horse Booth At New York Comic Con
I hadn't had a chance to go to the New York Comic Con show floor on the Thursday and I had an hour downtime before my next panel so I decide I would take a walk to the Dark Horse booth. On my way there I passed the Bandai booth and since I am a fan of Super Sentai in Japan and my son is a fan of Power Ranger, I figured I would take a look at the new figures for the 2015 Power Rangers Dino Charge.
As I got to the showcase there was a couple of guys hanging out and not moving and blocking me from looking at the toys. When I asked if I could get in the guy just looked back down at his phone and only shifted his bag between his legs not moving at all.
Then one of the reps from the booth approached me and asked if I wanted to see the display and I told him yes. He then told the kids to move and instead of blocking the showcase they decided to block the entrance to the booth instead. Finally they were pressed to move on and as I finished taking a look at the showcase the rep thanked me for helping him get rid of the kids and handed me a cool Batman Arkham City Sprukits model.
I told him it was quite alright and I thanked him for the gift. It was a nice to be treated so well by the guys at Bandai. Thanks again for the kit…
