Absolute Carnage #5 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by The Bad Boy of Comics Donny Cates, Ryan Stegman, Mark Bagley, J.P. Mayer, Jay Leisten, John Dell, Frank Martin, and Clayton Cowles, and if you think that's a lot of people to work on a single comic, maybe it explains why this super-mega-crossover event had to expand to an extra issue? Just kidding, super-mega-crossover events don't need a reason to do that. It's just what they do, a symbol of the bloat and excess that plagues the comic book industry alongside gluttonous variant cover schemes, senseless number one issue reboots, and shocking character deaths and resurrections. What were we talking about again? Oh yeah, a preview…

It's the final issue, which means it's time for the heroes to win the day and stop the evil Carnage. You know how these things go.

Venom, who is now a bunch of symbiotes in one, gives it his best shot.

But will it be enough?!

Or will all of Marvel's heroes die and the bad guys win for the first time ever?

We're thinking things will turn out alright, but just in case, you might want to check out Absolute Carnage #5 in stores on Wednesday, true believer.
