All Coffee Might As Well Be Decaf To Kryptonians – Action Comics #982

Okay, so yes, today's Action Comics #982 by Dan Jurgens, Jack Herbert, Jose Luis, Ray McCarthy and Hi-Fi sees all the big Superbads team-up to attack Superman at his Fortess Of Solitude. Cyborg Superman, General Zod, The Eliminator, Blanque, Metallo and Mongul.

But Superman is not without his own friends, willing to help him out in a tight spot. However, they have their own lives, which gives us the chance to take a peek.

Such as Supergirl making herself a cup of coffee. Despite, it seems, being unable to appreciate its active properties.

In the TV show, she certainly fetched and made enough coffee for her boss.

And drunk enough with Lois.

And with Batgirl.

In the comic book, she's even worked in a coffee shop for a considerable period of time.

While Superman has certainly had his fair share over the years.

And even made his own too.

And brought some for Supergirl herself!

But it seems like all this time it's been going to waste. Caffeine doesn't affect the Kryptonian physiology. Or not in any way they have been able to ascertain to this date. And makes the like of this product… seem even more useless.

And baristas who have been doing this kind of thing should probably knock it off… it's just not worth it.
