CBLDF Offers Up Some Goodies For #GivingTuesday
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (or CBLDF) has put together some treats for anyone donating today to go along with #GivingTuesday. The CBLDF handles a wide variety of cases all involving the right to read… from banned graphic novels in school and libraries to unconstitutional legislation that would effect readers, creators and retailers. It's one of the charities that comic fans should know about.
If you donate to CBLDF today, not only is the amount tax deductible… and as we approach the end of the year that could be important… but you will receive some gifts depending on the amount.
Donate any amount, and receive a special #GivingTuesday edition of CBLDF's podcast featuring a vintage 1980s interview between Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore, discussing creativity, free expression, and the power of comics! All donors who contribute by 12:00 a.m. PST today will receive this very special item!
Donate $20 or more, and receive a copy of Vader Down #1 CBLDF Exclusive Edition, featuring a striking Terry Dodson cover, along with the podcast!
Donate $50 or more, and receive a copy of Back To The Future #1 Grays Sports Almanac Variant edition, a double-page spread prop replica of Back to the Future's timeline altering Grays Sports Almanac, along with the podcast.
Donate $100 or more, and receive a copy of "It's Not A Trick," a lovely 22″ x 17″ full color lithograph signed and numbered by J.H. Williams in a limited run of 125 copies, along with the podcast.
