Joshua Williamson and Andrea Milana are launching the new Cobra Commander #1 on Wednesday from Skybound/Image Comics. The first issue of the latest G.I. Joe/Energon Universe miniseries, in collaboration with Hasbro. And because this is Skybound, they include high-ratio spoiler covers revealing some important scene, usually at the end of the comic book. And despite some retailers being sworn to secrecy, they get put on eBay the weekend before the sale. And Bleeding Cool notices, posts it, and the aftermarket goes a little insane just before the sale. It's like a mating ritual at this point, even as issue 1 of Cobra Commander is already selling for above cover price. After which, we will discard Cobra Commander and move on to DC Comics like the cad we are.
