Here's How Retailers Can Get Doug Braithwaite's Glass Variant Cover for Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1

Back at San Diego Comic-Con, Valiant Entertainment revealed the next innovative step in the evolution of variant cover making: the glass variant. That's right, a variant so fragile, if you can keep yours in pristine condition, it'll have to be worth a million bucks in twenty years since everyone else's will break because they're made of freaking glass. Genius!

The first comic to feature a glass variant will be Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1, by Lonnie Nadler, Zac Thompson, and Ken Lashley. The variant will be drawn by Doug Braithwaite. But here's the catch: for your retailer to be able to order one, they'll need to order at least 250 copies of Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1. After that, they can order as many glass variants as they want. One additional glass variant will be awarded for every 250 copies after that.

Following in the footsteps of Valiant's ultra-successful run of Brushed Metal Variants, the BLOODSHOT RISING SPIRIT #1 Glass Cover Variant will be printed via a special multi-colored process on a carefully devised pane of glass, with artwork by superstar creator Doug Braithwaite (Justice)!

Retailers, take note: the BLOODSHOT RISING SPIRIT #1 Glass Variant Cover can be obtained for every qualifying order of 250 copies of BLOODSHOT RISING SPIRIT #1. There is no limit per store. UPDATE: An earlier version of this article mistakenly claimed that unlimited numbers of the glass variant could be ordered after a shop ordered 250 copies, when it is actually 1 variant per 250 copies of Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1. Also, Valiant says they won't ship through Diamond, but directly from Valiant to the store.
