After decades of staying silent on the subject, Archie Comics characters Archie and Jughead have finally let their opinions be known on global carbon emissions and wealth inequality. Carbon gasses can cause global temperatures to rise and are considered a major factor in climate change, but how do the Riverdale gang feel about them? Archie Comics' official Twitter account went on the record Thursday:

As with any post touching on a political subject, Archie and Jughead weighing in on carbon emissions elicited some strong reactions. But Archie Comics' twitter didn't hesitate to shut them down.

It seems the Archie twitter account is in an extra snarky mood today, tweeting things like this sarcastic response to a request for Riverdale spoilers…

And this shot across the bow of the comics media.

The bottom line is that Archie Comics is not in the mood for your BS today.

So if you come at Archie Comics on Twitter, you'd better be prepared to get what's coming to you.
