Frank Cho's Creator-Owned Comics For The Next Few Years
Some you may have heard of, some you may not. Frank Cho has ten creator-owned projects in mind that he wants to see out in the next five years. Let's see how he does…
The first is Drawing Beautiful Women: The Frank Cho Method funded by Kickstarter, and published by Flesk and currently at the printer. This should be in stores in November.
World of Payne with Tom Sniegoski. Spring 2015. Publisher to be announced. He calls it "a cross between Harry Potter and Dresden Files. The first story arc, Ghost Dog, is all written and I'm in process of drawing the story."
Skybourne. Fall 2015. Publisher to be announced, and Frank may well announce it at Baltimore Comic Con. He's outlined the entire first story arc, and has thumb-nailed and sketched out the first issue.
Guns & Dinos. Spring 2016. Publisher Delcourt and Image Comics. Yes, Frank dropped the ball on this, he puts it down to "around when I rewrote the second issue, and it snowballed into a monster. I have everything under control now and have the first 25 pages done and outlined the remaining issues in this 4 issue miniseries."
And of course, there is more Jungle Queen to come… but maybe fewer zero issue prologues to X-Men events!
