God With A Gun – Charlie Hebdo Welcomes In 2016

The magazine has bumped its print run to over a million, featuring cartoons from those murdered in the attacks one year ago as well as many more contributors, with an editorial by manager and cartoonist and survivor Laurent "Riss" Sourisseau, defending secularism and attacking "fanatics brutalised by the Koran" and those of all religions who attacked Charlie Hebdo for "daring to laugh at the religious".
This week, ceremonies to commemorate the attack will take place across France, with a plaque being unveiled at the magazine's former offices and an oak tree is being planted at the Place de la Republique.
