There have been references to Donald Trump's campaign in current superhero comic books. But Hillary Clinton's run for President hasn't been touched on as much.

Until next week, when Avengers Standoff: Alpha makes a side reference to the current "Emailgate" scandal…

Although, Unsolicited Opinions On Israel-style, the writer and one-time politician Nick Spencer gets away with not actually having to write the joke. A reference is enough as Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, breaks into SHIELD to access mystery files…
