Image Crossover – Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, Dee Cunniffe, John J Hill

Donny Cates, author of Absolute Carnage, Venom, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Thanos and Venom, and co-creator of God Country, Redneck, Interceptor, Babyteeth and more, has been heavily linked to the new Image Comics event title Crossover. But it appears that a number of Image Comics creators have already filmed a panel to be shown in two weeks time during Comic-Con@Home.

Going live on Thursday, July 23rd at 5pm PT, 8pm ET and 1am on Friday July 24th, BST will be an Image Comics panel with Donny Cates, God Country co-creator Geoff Shaw, as well as Redneck artist Dee Cunniffe and Nailbiter designer John J Hill, and they will have an announcement together.

They may be joined by more… Yesterday, Bleeding Cool reported on a tease for a new Image Comics project called Crossover and that Dony Cates was already linked to it courtesy of his retweeting and from those associated with him, creatively.

I also recalled reporting back in March "I have also heard rumours that we may see a more immediate independent comic book crossover including Donny Cates, other A-list creators, and a bunch of creator-owned characters, as part of an Image Comics superhero universe crossover that will also include DC's Wildstorm books. Again, that is all still to come." We also noted that Donny Cates had the three dots from the Image Comics announcement pinned to his Twitter feed yesterday.

Anyone else fancy joining such a crossover event? Although if the panel has already been recorded, that might suddenly be a little harder.
