Justice League Dark Artist Mikel Janin Offers Commissions To Help Fund Fan Film

Trevor Krainik writes for Bleeding Cool:

Hello Bleeding Cool!

We have an exciting update to our Indiegogo campaign for Justice League Dark: The Gathering!

Mikel Janin has graciously offered 2 commissions as perks for our campaign! It is such a good feeling to have support from one of the creators and the artist of the series that we are basing our film on. Mikel has been so great and very supportive of our campaign already … this just takes the cake. What an awesome gesture on his part …

JLDARK2The commissions are each 11" x 17" and can be ANY character that the contributor chooses. Of course, Mikel has been the artist for all of the issues of Justice League Dark … he has also been the artist for the Trinity War. So he has basically drawn every major player in the New 52. Amazing. Since he lives in Spain, we know that it can be a challenge for fans to get a piece from him. This is a great opportunity to get any character that you can think up, have it drawn by one of the most talented artists working today … all while supporting indie film. I call that a major win-win.

And there is still time to get the John Constantine pint glasses and Deadman T-shirts, both featuring artwork by "Cursed Pirate Girl" creator Jeremy Bastian. There are also perks featuring the logo for Happy Reaper which was designed by Spaceglider Studios (animators for shows like Harvey Birdman, Ugly Americans, MAD, Superjail! and more). There are a ton of diverse perks …

Thanks so much for all you do … again, we absolutely adore your site.
