Justice Society Of America & The Legion Of Super Heroes? (Spoilers)

Geoff Johns' goal with Golden Age was "to delve into the neglected corners of DC with this new group of titles from the JSA to the Legion"

Article Summary

  • Geoff Johns' Golden Age series explores JSA's origins and future with new titles.
  • The story hints at a grim future and ties between JSA and the Legion of Super-Heroes.
  • Mordru the Merciless seeks to alter his villainous destiny using DC's timeline issues.
  • Justice Society #10 sets the stage for a JSA vs Legion showdown in upcoming issues.

When introducing the Golden Age series of comics published by DC, back in 2022, Geoff Johns said "our goal is to delve into the neglected corners of DC with this new group of titles, from the JSA to the Legion, and all those who operate between. Mordru the Merciless, a magical supervillain created by Jim Shooter and Curt Swan, in 1968. Except this is a young version of Mordru, looking to escape his destiny as a villain and wanting to use the continuity contradictions inherent in Huntress (although I'd also look to Power Girl) to do that. Though maybe he's not quite as benign as he promises? Spoilers… Justice Society #10 by Geoff Johns and Mikel Janin is published tomorrow.
