Limited Edition Comix / Dave Gibbons Signing Raises over £600 For The Hero Initiative

Limited Edition Comix, a UK based comic book store based in Stevenage, has raised £635 (approx $790) for Hero Initiative from its in-store Dave Gibbons signing on the 26th November.

Fans queued from 10:30am until 4:00pm to meet the artist and anyone who donated to the Hero Initiative charity was rewarded with a sketch from Dave.

Ed Vivian, store manager of Limited Edition Comix comments on the event and one of the store's most successful signings.

"Mr Gibbons is a legend in the comic world, so we had to get him in for a signing. Not only is he clearly a master of his craft he was incredible and chatted to everyone that came up to him. We will, no doubt, be asking him back to sign again as the queue didn't seem to stop all day."
