Luca Maresca Returns to Join Matteo Lolli and Stephanie Hans on Asgardians Of The Galaxy #5

There are often a few slips 'tween solicitation and publication. And as deadlines bite, it seems that Marvel Editorial are upping their game of bringing in other artists to help finish a solicited issue and not miss deadlines.

Matteo Lolli was the lead artist on Asgardians Of The Galaxy, but #3 was solicited by him, Mike Del Mundo and more – the 'more' turned out to be Andre Araujo and Jill Thompson. #4 was solicited by Lolli and Natacha Bustos but was then joined by Luca Maresca.

And so Asgardians Of The Galaxy #5 out in a couple of weeks was solicited by Lolli and Stephanie Hans. Of course, she has a full-blown hit like Die hitting the shelves.

So, Asgardians Of The Galaxy #5 will now again be drawn by Luca Maresca, in addition to the previously solicited Lolli and Hans. Maresca made their Marvel Comics debut in #4 after working on titles such as Doctor Who, Sirocad, Waisen and Orfani.

Lolli is solicited solo for Asgardians Of The Galaxy #6 while Matteo Buffagni will be drawing #7. We'll revisit those solicitations closer to publication…
