Magneto Goes Green in New Marvel Teaser for Powers of X

We already know that Jonathan Hickman will be making some big changes to the X-Men with his upcoming line-wide relaunch kicking off in July with House of X and Powers of X, but nobody could have possibly considered those changes would be so X-Treme. However, in a new teaser posted to Marvel's Twitter account, the unthinkable has happened: Magneto has changed up his color scheme.

Yes, that appears to be the Master of Magnetism sporting a snazzy green outfit for Powers of X, eschewing his usual red. What are Hickman and, presumably, Powers of X artist R.B. Silva trying to say with this change? Is Magneto becoming yet another Hulk? Is he supporting ecological responsibility? Has he gotten his hands on some kryptonite? Or perhaps he is green… with envy!

We won't get the answers until at least July, so it's best to just post your wildest speculation in the comments and then get pissed off and start a petition when things don't go according to your fan theories, like a Game of Thrones fan. Powers of X #1 hits stores on July 31st.
