Marvel Comics Make Agent Coulson Part Of The 616
In tomorrow's final issue of Battle Scars, all right minded readers of Bleeding Cool are expecting Sergeant Marcus Johnson, now revealed as the son of Nick Fury, to basically be the new Nick Fury. With a skin colour to match that of Samuel Jackson, playing Nick Fury in the movies.
And, it seems, according to the USA Today visual below, sporting a bald head, a wraparound black eye patch and a goatee as well.
But what we didn't expect was that his soldiering partner Cheese would also step nicely in line with Marvel Movie continuity as well. USA Today have just revealed, ahead of tomorrow's issue, that Cheese will be referred to as Agent Coulson.
Coulson is a SHIELD character invented for the Marvel movies, first appearing in Iron Man, badgering Tony Stark and Pepper Potts for an interview, and then in subsequent movies, and his own single scene short film.
He's a bit bulkier than Clark Gregg who plays him in the movies. And there's no suggestion that he will reflect other changes in Agent Coulson in the Avengers movie…
