Mister Miracle to Mera – More Big Books from DC Comics for 2018 and 2019

We've been running lost of DC Comics collections of late thanks to a bevvy hitting online catalogues such as Edelweiss, Amazon, Penguin Random House and now the June solicits. So here are a few more. Some are the return of old favourites such as putting John Byrne's classic Superman & Batman: Generations, Howard Chaykin and Dan Brereton's Batman: Thrillkiller and Greg Rucka and Klaus Janson's Batman: Death And The Maidens back into print or the expected, such as getting a third box set of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman.

We've also run listings for lots of Omnibuses and hardcovers, the reissuing of Chuck Dixon's Knightfall saga here and here, the cover to the Absolute Killing Joke, the relaunching of the Harley Quinn collections, the collection of Don McGregor and Gene Colan's Nathaniel Dusk, new 30th Anniversary editions of Sandman here and here, DC Comics' Essential Line, Action Comics #1000 getting a hardcover, a new Justice League.

All these at a time when DC Comics are dropping their prices in the UK.

But there a few more of note. As Mera gets a DC Ink YA novel and her own series ahead of the Aquaman movie, so DC did into her back catalogue, with the first Aquaman by Jim Aparo. What image will they use for the cover though?

27 November 2018 Trade Paperback
$16.99 160 pages

It's team-up time! Two of pop culture's greatest teams collide in the graphic novel you thought you'd never see in JUSTICE LEAGUE/POWER RANGERS! The Justice League have never met heroes like these teenagers with attitude before!

When a teleporter accident brings the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from Angel Grove to Gotham City, Batman isn't sure what to make of these masked martial artists and their highly suspicious giant robot dinosaurs. It's time to call in the DC Universe's greatest heroes — the Justice League!

But the League and the Rangers will have to get over their distrust quickly, because the fate of two worlds is on the line! When the Power Rangers crossed between worlds, they weren't alone — Lord Zedd came with them. And when Zedd meets Brainiac, neither the DC Universe nor the Rangers' home Earth is safe.

But when these two mighty teams join forces, they morph into a fighting force like neither world has ever seen!

Writer Tom Taylor (INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US) and artist Stephen Byrne (GREEN ARROW) bring together the classic Power Rangers lineup and the greatest superheroes of the DC Universe in this crossover sensation. Collects JUSTICE LEAGUE/POWER RANGERS #1-6.

Rather than two lots of six issues, Mister Miracle will be going all in… even if June gives us a skip month.

From one of comics' most critically acclaimed authors, Gardner Fox, the Silver Age adventures of Adam Strange kick off in paperback as this classic DC archaeologist transforms into a cosmic hero!

Born at the dawn of the Space Age, planet-hopping adventurer Adam Strange embodies America's fascination with all things extraterrestrial. Debuting in 1958 in the pages of DC Comics' SHOWCASE, Adam Strange was an archaeologist working in South America when he was whisked away by a Zeta Beam to the futuristic planet Rann, which circled the star Alpha Centauri.

There, the displaced Earthman met and fell in love with the beautiful Alanna and kicked off a series of intergalactic adventures that bounced him back and forth on the Zeta Beam like a yo-yo, alternating between his normal life on Earth and defending Rann from a seemingly endless barrage of weird threats and invaders. ADAM STRANGE: THE SILVER AGE VOL. 1 collects the galaxy-spanning adventures of Adam Strange, first published in SHOWCASE #17-19 and MYSTERY IN SPACE #53-79.
