Prettier Deadlier For 2015…

I know everyone is thinking about Christmas. But I'm thinking about Image Expo, held on January 8th. We know of one big Marvel creator making an Image Comics debut – though we have been asked not to spoil that particular surprise and I must have been in a good mood that day. We have also mentioned that new-to-Image writer Marjorie Liu will be bringing a Marvel artist with her….

Well, yesterday Kelly Sue DeConnick and Matt Fraction sent out their upcoming schedule on their rather wonderful newsletter (sign up here).

December 20 – KS & MF Signing at Cosmic Monkey, Portand, OR
January 7 – ODY-C #2 in stores
January 8 – Image Expo
January 28 – Bitch Planet #2 in stores
January 28 – Casanova: Acedia #1 in stores
January 28 – ODY-C #3 in stores
February 18 – Bitch Planet #3 in stores
February 19-22 – KS at Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

The Image Expo site shows no sign of either scheduled to appear.

However, we understand that artist Emma Rios will be present, announcing a new solo project for Image Comics.

But if Kelly were there too, it might also be a nice place to show off pages from Pretty Deadly 2 (Prettier Deadlier) wouldn't it? Kelly had previously written "got some new research materials for PRETTY DEADLY VOL 2 and have been immersed in those. I miss Ginny and Alice and Sissy and the others. My heart hurts to get back to them."
