Process Art: A Look at Ediano Silva's Work on Killer Instinct #6
It's been a while since we've done a good process art piece, but here we have four penciled, colored and finished pages by Ediano Silva based on Ian Edginton's script for Killer Instinct #6, the final issue in the series. Prior to this series, Silva worked on the Grimm Fairy Tales books for Zenescope Entertainment, Jungle Fantasy for Avatar Press and Pathfinder: Runescars for Dynamite. You can get a better sense of the detail work that goes into the art when looking at just the pencils. The colors, at times, can mask the intricacies you see below like in the muscles on the demon or the line work on the crystals. Also, don't miss the real nice looking tiger on that first page.

The finale is here! Gargos is back, and while the Shadow Lord may be vulnerable, he is far from defenseless. Kim Wu and her fellow heroes race against time to defeat this monstrous foe. Meanwhile, ARIA and the Tsar have formed an unholy alliance, and are ready to slay whoever survives this Astral showdown.
Killer Instinct #6 is in comic shops now.
