A Comic Show – Endgame's Batman & Joker's Last Laugh!

Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida, writes:

Hey Fandom! Batman #40 is here! The end of Endgame! Climax of Snyder and Capullo's run. The final Batman vs. Joker battle (or at least an extremely satisfying last laugh. I don't spoil it, and really is the execution of the idea and not factual details that make the book a thing of beauty. Geoff Johns' Justice League #40 launches Darkseid War, and deals head on with the relaunches and reboots that DC's done in quicker session since Crisis on Infinite Earths. Superman #40 set up the big Lois and Clark chance that's in the FCBD issue. Multiversity #2 ends the battle to save the Multiverse a gives us Justice Incarnate! Convergence also came out, and I talk about all the tie ins. I loved seeing Blue Beetle and Booster Gold again, I'm a sucker for those two.

Marvel's Time Runs Out ends and leads right into FCBD's Secret Wars #0 and next Wednesday's Secret Wars #1. And Spiderverse is all out in collections.

Kurtis (Rat Queens, Peter Panzerfaust) Wiebe's new book Pisces is a war/sci-fi mash-up guaranteed to tear a testicle. Image also rocked out new issues of Bitch Planet and Outcast. Jem and the Holograms #2 is all about the Misfits. Black Mask's Mayday #1 is more of those old school Vertigo feels.

And just in time for Saturday May 2nd's Free Comic Book Day we got in Fables volume 21 and The Walking Dead volume 23! Enjoy your FCBD wherever you happen to be!
