Angry Parents, eBay, And Frozen Merchandise Burning Up
By: Julz Hendricks
It's no secret that Frozen has literally taken the world by storm. Not only has it grossed over 1 billion at the Box Office, and won a plethora of awards, but it has warmed the hearts of every man, woman, and child on Earth. However, the high demand for merchandise has essentially "Frozen" the sale of Elsa and Anna dresses, as well as the characters barbie-style dolls.
Disney stores around the world sold out of these popular items super fast. Like a chain reaction, angry parents are turning to Ebay and paying an astronomical price for these items. Dresses that usually go for $150.00 at the Disney store are going for thousands of dollars, depending on the rarity.
It also created a Facebook frenzy of parents desperate for any sign that they will restock the items with lightning quick speed. While I understand the parents need to acquire the hottest merchandise on the market, the chill thing to do would be to wait for the next Frozen Teefury Shirt!
This conundrum gives a whole meaning to the phrase "Winter is coming".
