Dark Horse Presents: The Many Murders Of Miss Cranbourne by Rich Johnston and Simon Rohrmuller
Starting in Dark Horse Presents #8, out the first week in February, a surprise listing! Almost as much a surprise to me!
The Many Murders Of Miss Cranbourne, written by me, drawn by Watchmensch artist Simon Rohrmuller. Basically, it's Miss Marple meets Dexter. Set in a little English village in the nineteen forties, one woman seeks to rid the world of evil. Murderers, abusers, drunkards, thieves, adulterers, homosexuals, gypsies, if she doesn't like the cut of your jib, you may be for the chop!
And then she also happens to be an amateur sleuth, helping the detectives in charge of the very case she committed. After all, who would suspect a little old lady of… murder???
I've been reading Dark Horse Presents since I first started going to comic shops. Now I've got a strip in it. It feels really good.
