ThirtyGrandDelight: Pixton Comics Inc has won a $30,000 prize for winning a new business competition in British Columbia, BCIC-New Ventures Competition. Pixton alread has 750,000 users across the world, letting people easily create online comics – even if they can't draw, with posable characters.
"I came into the competition feeling hopeful but never in a million years did I imagine that we'd walk away with the first prize," said Clive Goodinson, Founder and Creator of Pixton. "It's a huge vote of confidence for what we are doing. Any entrepreneur knows you take a huge risk in pursuing your dreams but at the same time you know inside of you that it's something that is going to happen. And this just seals the deal."
DuckDelight: Boom! will debut Daniel Johnston's Space Ducks: An Infinite Comic of Musical Greatness with soundtrack and Apple App, at SXSW in March…
