First Mention Of Marvel Comics' Pleasant Hill Today… (SHIELD SPOILERS)

For those of you who are anticipating the upcoming Avengers Standoff: Assault On Pleasant Hill event, you may want to pick up Agents Of SHIELD #2 out today.

Not only do you get further details on Coulson's relationship with a certain Lola, of the Department of Defense.

Yes he did. And courtesy of her, we get a final page reveal mention of a certain "Pleasant Hill".

So who is General Strakofsky? Currently a new character for the Marvel Universe…

Bleeding Cool has surmised that this may be something to do with SHIELD continuing the experiments using Cosmic Cubes as a "defence" mechanism that can change the reality of time and space to the desires of whoever is in charge. Something that Sam Wilson, whose timeline was also altered in this way with Cosmic cubes by the Red Skull may have a real problem with. And may, as the name suggests, involve an assault by Avengers upon a suburban community of civilians where this SHIELD experiment may be located.

That's all just a guess. But for those following along, it gets a tiny start in today's Agents Of SHIELD. And explains just how the government and/or SHIELD may be able to fight back against Avengers. Will these factions back the Captain America three-way stand-off as well?
