Attendees at past San Diego Comic Cons have become accustomed to advertising and marketing for the show reaching them on the very keys to their hotel rooms. There really is no way to escape.
But this time, Warner Bros have really gone to town, getting the promotional rights on all key cards in thirty-six hotels surround the convention, for a numebr of their properties, including TV shows Alcatraz and Person of Interest, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, the boxset Smallville: The Complete Series and the upcoming game The Lord of the Rings: War in the North.
Hotel goers will also be given information to regsiter for a special "key party" at the show where they can "experience the Darkness of Middle Earth."
Or they can just turn out the hotel room lights, I guess.
