Watch The New Trailer That Just Premiered At Fan Event For The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

Are you not at LA's The Grove attending the fan event for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug with Evangeline Lilly? Neither am I, but at least we can all watch the new trailer that just premiered there right now. It's more than three minutes long and chock full of brand new footage.

An Unexpected Journey divided critics and J. R. R. Tolkein / Peter Jackson fans alike, but Desolation of Smaug looks pretty good based on what we've seen so far, even if it is still pretty unbelievable they're really going to wring three movies out of this. This sequel comes out basically everywhere on December 13th, while There and Back Again will follow a year later on December 17th, 2014 (UKers, you have to wait two days for December 19th).
