Sci-Fi Thriller Limited Series HaloGen Coming From Archaia In March

From Archaia, an imprint of award winning publisher BOOM! Studios, comes a new sci-fi limited series entitled HaloGen. The creative team will consist of Josh Tierney (Spera), Afu Chan (Spera), and Giannis Milonogiannis (Prophet, Old City Blues). The story will focus on Rell, an agent working for the HaloGen organization whose task is to find the supposed dead body of a god who is rumored to be floating in space.

BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon talked about the creative team and what to look forward to in HaloGen:

Josh, Afu, and Giannis have already proven they know how to create sprawling worlds and well-rounded characters, and now they're taking us into the deep reaches of space for a unique adventure. You'll meet Rell this March in the pages of HaloGen, and her story is a very cool sci-fi thriller.

HaloGen is said to fit in the same category as Prophet, Rocket Girl, and The Fifth Element, all fantastic sci-fi titles. I personally adore the artistic beauty of the books that are put out through Archaia, and can't wait to gaze at the pages of HaloGen. Looking at the cover alone gives us a preview of how spectacular the book is going to look. It seems like the plot is going to be pretty intense as well. I'm a fan of intricate sci-fi stories, so it's always good news when more are being released into the comic book world. Good thing we don't have to suffer too much anticipation before the release. HaloGen #1 will be in stores on March 4th.
