Slave Labor Graphics Quits Floppies For Digital
Slave Labor Graphics, Dan Vado's comic book publishing company behind Johnny The Homicidal Maniac and Milk And Cheese, has announced that it will cease publishing single issues of its comics book series, in favour of digital releases instead, which will then be followed by a print graphic novel version.
Sanctuary by Stephen Coughlin will be the first out of the blocks, available from the SLG website in PDF, CBZ and ePub formats first, as well as ComiXology, Graphic.Ly, Panelfly, iVerse, iTunes and Nook. It is described as The Jungle Book crossed with Lost, tells the story of a mysterious island research facility and the animals and humans who live on it. Next up is Monstrosis by Chris Wisnia, a sequel to Doris Danger: Giant Monster Adventures.
Both comics have a first issue available free with subsequent issues for 99 cents each.
The next titles t be offeed in his format include Snow White:Through A Glass, Darkly by Van Jensen and Robin Holestein, Knights of the Living Dead by Dustin Higgins and Ron Wolfe and Peabody & D'Gorath by M.D Penman.
