Special Agent Harambe vs the Order of the 12

May 28th, 2016.

An attempt was made on a government employee's life.

That employee's name:

Harambe.

The new graphic novel, Special Agent Harambe vs the Order of the 12, picks up where the events of that day left off.

My name is Johnny Segura 3rd and I'm the creator/author/artist for this project.

Special Agent Harambe vs the Order of the 12

It follows Harambe on a tale that starts off as revenge and turns into him saving the world from the devastating attacks of Operation Caeser. Almost a year and a half ago I put the first chapter of Special Agent Harambe on Kickstarter, and after an article on Bleeding Cool, the book blew up. It was nuts. The book was getting a ton of publicity! And when I would have it on display at shows, I would always get people buying it as a goof, then coming back to the table to tell me how awesome they thought it was and ask when the next issue would be ready. Due to some unforeseeable life events, I had to put this project on the back burner with several other projects.

Fast forward to the now. I realized that I needed to pull myself out of the slump I was in and I knew there was really only one way to do it. I worked nonstop on making a new book. Being creative always helps me when I feel bad. I've had the layout for the next two issues of Harambe for quite some time. Just never got around to bring them to life. Also, I hate having books end on a cliffhanger. I just don't like having to tell readers that I have no idea when the next part is coming out.

I binged and got the entire next two parts done at a pretty good pace. I decided against releasing the next two chapters as individual issues, because I didn't want to have the same thing happen again. And I already had them completely done, so why not just release it as a graphic novel? I'm really proud of this piece. It's just a fun story. Action packed, good pacing, and plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments. While I was working on this book, I came up with two more story arcs that will be one-shots to finish up Harambe's tale.

Special Agent Harambe vs the Order of the 12

This story arc is broken up into three chapters, spanning this 120+ page graphic novel. Chapter 1 ( 36 pages ): "Life, Death, Life". In this chapter, Harambe hunts down those who attempted to take his life, as hints are dropped about the massive Operation Caeser. Chapter 2 ( 28 pages ): "Mourn For Your World". Two years have passed since the events of Chapter 1. Harambe has since moved on to a more peaceful life back in his natural habitat when he's visited by someone from his past with the sole purpose of tearing everything down around him. All the while, Operation Caeser begins to ravish the world, all in preparation for what is to come. Chapter 3 (43 pages ): "Make Amends and Wait For Me." The conclusion to the story comes down to a battle of epic proportions between Harambe and the men behind OperationCaeser.

The book is filled with crazy manga-influenced action, with splashes of color to really make certain moments POP! As the book goes on, you get to see the people ( ish ) who make up Project Caeser, and what they are willing to do in the name of their mission. If you would like to learn more about the project, it is currently on Kickstarter. As well as the book, there's also plenty of other awesome swag available from digital goodies, to original art and the original page layouts of the book. Go check it out and give it a like, share, and backing if you dig it!

So, in closing, thank you all so much for your time.

Without all of you, none of this would be possible. Continue being awesome, and never let anyone stop you!
