Spider-Man Guesting on J. Jonah Jameson's Podcast Went Better Than Expected in Amazing Spider-Man #40

The Amazing Spider-Man #40 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week by Nick Spencer and Iban Coello, as Spider-Man tries a new approach to keeping J. Jonah Jameson under control: being nice to him?

Spidey agreed to guest star on Jonah's new podcast in hopes of giving Jonah recognition for trying not to be such a dick anymore.

And if you thought that was a recipe for disaster, you'll be glad to learn that it only resulted in a supervillain attack, which, all things considered, is not the worse thing that could have happened.

Of course, it is putting a bit of damper on the whole podcast recording thing…

…when someone is trying to kill the host!

• As you are well aware, JJJ doesn't take "no" for an answer, so even if Spidey is knee-deep in a world-saving situation, JJJ will always be there to "help" him.
• But while Spidey is dealing with JJJ and Chance, something is brewing with Kindred and it can't bode well for Peter.
