The Avengers Final Issue Variant Cover That's Eleven Years Old

Marvel Comics are offering a variant edition to the final Avengers issue before Secret Wars cancels the book. In order to get copies, retailers have to sent back ripped off covers to any unsold copies they have of Axis #1, as part of a promotion to get people to order more copies of that comic last year.

It seems to show a more classic take on the Avengers, the young Steve Rogers as Cap, the unsuperior Iron Man.

Well, here is Marvel Previews from 2004, featuring a cover variant for Avengers Finale #1 by Jim Cheung

2015-02-23It was never used… until now. From one Avengers Finale…to another.
