Titan Cancels Its DC Comics Newsstand Range

As Bleeding Cool has mentioned before, Titan Magazines has been publishing DC Comics-licensed titles for some time now for the British comics market, but of late there have been complaints about reliability and timeliness.

As of Christmas Eve, that will no longer be the case and, as of now, all Titan Magazines DC titles have been cancelled. Their statement reads;

Titan Magazines regrets to announce that it will no longer be publishing the DC Comics range after December.

Back issues will still be available to order and all subscribers will be contacted. For any queries please call 01778 392085 or email titanmagazines@warnersgroup.co.uk.

Thank you to all our loyal readers over the years.

The proximity to the end of the year suggests that someone else may have the license in 2019, but there is no indication who. Panini, Egmont and Hachette would be the obvious suspects.

DC Universe Presents was last published in November and its December issue will not be published. Also missing in action were All-Star Batman last published in October, Batman and DC Legends last published in November, Batman Superman, DC Super Heroes, DC Team Up, DC Spotlight and Scooby Apocalypse did come out this month. Supergirl disappeared a while ago without warning…

Titan Magazines continue to publish Adventure Time, Simpsons Comics, Doctor Who: Tales From The TARDIS, Star Wars Insider, Star Trek Magazine and Rick And Morty.
