Ravencroft #1 hits stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Frank Tieri and Angel Unzueta, and we've got a preview for you right here.

We've previously discussed how the Ravencroft prelude event exemplified Marvel's key marketing strategies of PEE, POO, and CRAP. But what kind of comic will the mini-series be?

Well, the preview opens with Misty Knight, explaining the convoluted process which has led her to take a new job at Ravencroft.

A Ravencroft that may be a top-of-the-line mental health facility…

But how bad could it really be? Don't villains need a place to go to get away from all the superhero violence?

A sanctuary from the constant chaos of the Marvel Universe?

Maybe the Marvel Universe needs a Ravencroft.
